Jini Says: Here is an assortment of healthy oils that are beneficial - not just for people with digestive diseases, but for ALL people. Every member of my family takes the cod liver oil, and the high vitamin butter oil. And we use Udo's oil to make salad dressings.
If your disease is active, or if you're pregnant or lactating, then you need high amounts of each of these beneficial oils.
Also, for cooking, it's best to use extra virgin olive oil and unrefined coconut oil - available at your local grocery store. At any time, only use cold-pressed oils.

Here's a brief summary of each of these oils and why they're so good for you:

Udo's Oil: This is the most fantastic oil blend I’ve found. It was developed by Udo Erasmus, PhD, who wrote the book, Fats That Heal, Fats That Kill. It contains so many of the essential oils and fatty acids that we need for optimum functioning in many parts of our body: hair, skin, nails, brain development and functioning, joints, GI tract, etc. Again, this is a supplement that every person should take daily – but especially people with IBS and IBD, and pregnant and postpartum women.

Flax Oil: Flax oil is another good source of anti-inflammatory Omega-3 essential fatty acids. Drink it straight, use it for salad dressings, stir it into cold dips or yoghurt, or add it to your protein or Absorb Plus shakes. Just make sure you never heat flax oil, or add it to hot foods. Unfortunately, we don’t sell liquid flax oil here (only capsules) – but the liquid is widely available at all health and natural grocery stores. Note: Udo's Oil contains high levels of flax oil.

Fish Oil: Fish oil is an excellent source of bioavailable Omega-3’s which are anti-inflammatory. Recommended for cardiovascular health, improved blood viscosity, joint mobility, flexibility, healthy skin and hair, and memory function. Every person on this planet would benefit from taking a fish oil supplement - but especially people with IBD and IBS. Unfortunately, we can’t sell liquid fish oil here (we only have capsules), as it requires refrigeration – but it is widely available at all health stores.

High Vitamin Butter Oil: Dr. Weston A. Price traveled the world studying the traditional diets of many cultures. In every culture he discovered sacred foods that were carefully collected and prepared to ensure the strong mind, body, and spirit of its people. High Vitamin Butter Oil was something that Dr. Price recommended everyone consume after witnessing it's health benefits. Jini Says: This is my favorite morning tea (also great as a mid-afternoon pick-me-up!). The green tea is delicately flavored with plum, passion fruit and litchi fruit, so it's a real gourmet green tea.

The Kombucha and Chinese Herbs are excellent immune system balancers and strengtheners, but very gentle on your system. Try it once and I bet you'll be re-ordering!

As for the Bambu Instant Organic Coffee - this is the best-tasting, non-caffeine coffee substitute I could find - and I can't even remember how many I tried! I drink this all the time whenever I feel like a hot, comforting drink. I've given it to many guests and so far everyone has liked it.
